BECAUSE IT TAKES A VILLAGE
Our goal is to connect
your organization with the next generation of community
leaders! Seattle Works does this in three main ways:
1) You can post
opportunities on our website.
Our site includes a
calendar of one-time opportunities (special events, work
parties, etc.) as well as ongoing opportunities
(mentoring, administrative assistants, committee
members, etc.). Interested volunteers will contact you
directly through the site.

2) You can apply to host a
team of Seattle Works volunteers
Seattle Works organizes teams of
volunteers (generally 10-15 people) for
one-time projects such as deep-cleaning, painting,
organizing, mass mailing and data entry.
Teams are
generally booked several months in advance, but
applications are accepted year-round.
We are currently recruiting
for
Seattle Works
Day project hosts - Sat June 7.

3) You can connect with
graduates from our board training program
We run a
cutting-edge board training program,
The Bridge, covering nonprofit and public
board governance, financials and fundraising 101, and
even some personal development.
Through our
Board Works
program, we give you the opportunity to connect with our
graduates and find energetic, committed board members.
While we attempt to help nonprofit and public boards
find people, there is no guarantee of placement - it is
up to the interest of our graduates and the nominating
process of your organization to make a match. We provide
you a list of our graduates with brief bios and it is up
to you to contact individuals directly.
The cost of this service
is $25 for organizations with a budget under $250,000,
and $50 for those over.
