Want to make a difference in your community, build your resume, develop leadership skills, meet new people AND have fun?

Get involved in one of the following ways:

1.)  Join a Hot Project

Hot Projects are designed for even the busiest individuals. These one-time commitments lead by fellow Seattle Works volunteers allow participants different kinds of volunteering without any long-term obligation.

2.)  Take Part in Team Works

Each team participates in four volunteer projects -- one project per month -- and each project is hosted by a different nonprofit and exposes the team to a different set of community issues. You can create your own team, join others, or become a student volunteer leader! It’s a great way to make friends or meet that cute guy or gal.

3.)  Become a student volunteer leader!

Student volunteer leaders lead volunteer projects for their peers.  It’s great experience and an excellent way to build your resume.

4.)  Get training to serve in a community leadership role
The Bridge
is a three-session board training program that teaches participants about the nonprofit community, roles and responsibilities of board members and public commissions.

5.)  Converse with community leaders
Voice your opinions and concerns in intimate discussions with community leaders.
